Travis Scott performed at Billionaire Mellon’s daughter’s 16th birthday party just a week after the billionaire’s funeral

In Beverly Hills, the daughter of billionaire banking heir Matthew Mellon celebrated her sweet sixteen with an extravagant party, which took place barely one week after her father’s demise.

Mellon battled addiction throughout a lifetime and passed away at the age of 54.

Araminta “Minty” Mellon, who is Mellon’s daughter, turned sixteen on Saturday and posted a video to Instagram commemorating the occasion.

Travis Scott, the boyfriend of Kylie Jenner, is a rapper, and he performed for the 200 guests at the extravagant celebration in a sprawling 28,000-square-foot estate.

We’re still in a state of shоck, but Matthew would have preferred not to have the celebration postponed. A close relative or friend of the family told Page Six that was not him.

Scott, who is a father of Stormi and Jenner’s child, recently landed in the Beverly Hills estate of Michael Ovitz, the ex-head of Creative Artists Agency, via helicopter. Ovitz has been in a relationship with Jimmy Choo co-founder Tamara Mellon for seven years; she is Minty’s mother. Works by international artists such as Jasper Johns, Pablo Picasso, Willem de Kooning, and Mark Rothko adorn Ovtiz’s estate.

“The party was spectacular,” one of the guests told Page Six.

There were a lot of children dancing because most of the attendees were Minty’s friends and classmates; there were very few grownups there.

Music tycoon LA Reid was there; Minty’s daughters went to school with Reid.

Tragically, Minty’s dad was supposed to check into a rehabilitation center on April 16, but he was found deаd in his Mexico hotel room the same day. ‘My father was one of the most lovely, caring, and unselfish persons i have ever encountered.’ Minty turned to Instagram after his deаth to share a touching throwback shot with some heartfelt words. The planning for the celebration began well before the billionaire’s deаth. April 28 was the day of his burial.

According to a family friend, Mellon’s use of the hallucinogenic substance Ayahuasca led to a heart аttаck and subsequent deаth.When Mellon, who had been figҺting an OxyContin addiction and had previously spent $100,000 monthly on the medication, boarded his private plane to the Cancun facility for “maintenance,” he had been sober for 88 days.

Judge Thomas Mellon, founder of Mellon Bank, and Anthony Joseph Drexel, founder of Drexel University and an American banker, were both born into Mellon’s New York City family, which is one of the oldest banking houses.

Vanity Fair reports that he was raised in both Delray Beach, Florida and Northeast Harbor, Maine, and that he inherited a whopping $25 million when he reached 21.
