Boxer Ryan Garcia gets engaged to porn star having waited one hour after son's birth to divorce wife

Ryan Garcia is set to return to the ring in just a matter of days with his bout against Devin Haney in New York but his preparations have been far from ideal after a dramatic few days in his personal life

Ryan Garcia has announced a surprise engagement to adult film star Savannah Bond following his divorce from his previous wife one hour after the birth of his son.

The 25-year-old, who is set to take on Devin Haney in New York this weekend, shared a video on social media confirming their engagement. He can be seen getting down on one knee and asking Bond to marry him – with the video ending showing the pair sharing a kiss.

Captioning the video, the California-born boxer wrote: “SHE SAID YESS!!!!!!. I’M SO HAPPY AND MOTIVATED GOING INTO MY FIGHT NOW.

“LETS GOOOOOOO. LETS GO FOREEAL. SHES MY WIFE OR FUTURE WIFEY BUT STILL VERY VERY HAPPY. EVERYONE HAVE A GREAT DAY. SAV G”

The announcement comes after a dramatic few months for Garcia. He welcomed his second child into the world with ex-wife Andrea Celina.

In an Instagram in January, he wrote: “Honoured To announce my beautiful first born son. Praise the lord. I am so thankful, I love him so much already. He is so fast already haha. Took him just eight minutes to arrive.

“You know where he got that speed from lol. God did! And God will. Henry Leo Garcia. He will be ten times stronger, ten times wiser, ten times better looking but he will need to work ten times harder. Thank you lord I love you.”

However, just an hour later, Garcia announced his divorce from Celina – who he had been married to since 2021. The pair also have a daughter together. Garcia has also fathered another girl.

On the divorce, he wrote: “As I step into a new chapter in my life, it’s with a heavy heart to share that Drea and I have decided to divorce. While this decision marks the end of our marriage, it’s important to emphasise that our relationship as co-parents remains our top priority.

“Throughout our years together, Dea has been an incredible partner and an even more extraordinary mother to our two children. I’m deeply grateful for the years we shared and for her unwavering commitment to our family.”

After separating from Celina, Garcia was dating OnlyFans model Mikaela Testa but there is no mention of her on the boxer’s social media. His current fiance Bond is an Australian adult film star.

She has appeared in over 100 adult films and has shared posts with Garcia on her Instagram page. Away from the pair’s recent engagement, the boxer also launched into a rant aimed at the New York Mets.

Him and upcoming opponent Haney were set to throw the first pitch for their recent match with the Pirates. The club then backed out on that agreement – leaving Garcia furious.

Taking to social media, he said: “Yo guys, the Mets just wasted three hours of our life. To say at the end: ‘You can’t throw the pitch,’ for whatever reason. There was no reason, and they kicked us out.’ “I’m personally gonna say f**k the Mets,” he added. “Don’t ever go to a f***ing Mets game again. F**k the Mets.”
